Delighted to have supported the procurement of the recently signed technology partnership to provide specialist Cardiology & Interventional Radiology services in Norfolk and Waveney STP

MTS have provided technical and commercial support throughout the procurement of the MES. The contract will deliver state-of-the-art equipment and performance management services for ten years to Norfolk and Norwich University NHS Foundation Trust. The partnership is intended to ensure the availability of innovative and state-of-the-art medical technology in the hospital for a period of ten years, independent of manufacturers and delivers clinical choice. It has been a pleasure to work with the clinicians and stakeholders at NNUH who will now be well equipped to continue their amazing work and develop new treatments.

Royal Papworth October 2018

Royal Papworth October 2018 – MTS continues to support the Trust Equipment Procurement Programme …

MTS continues to support the Royal Papworth Hospital planned to move to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

MTS is working closely with the Trust project team to ensure all the required Equipment is bought and transferred to meet the new deadlines.
The Hospital was due to open in September 2018. However, it has announced contractors Skanska used insulation materials that did not meet its specifications and the move might take “a number of months”.

Role – Equipment Advisory
Contract Period – April 2017 -February 2018
Services – MTS was commissioned to review the Trusts Schedule of Accommodation and create and work with the Trusts clinical users, a set of detailed room by room equipment lists.
MTS created and prepared the room data sheets for the Outpatients Block redevelopment phase 1 and costed all of the equipment to inform the overall business case.
MTS also conducted a brief strategic review of the transferring equipment to prepare the initial equipment budgets.

Medial Equipment Asset Audit

Role – Equipment Audit Advisory
Contract Period – February – May 2017
Services – MTS were appointed by Royal Surrey County Hospital to provide an equipment audit. MTS surveyed over 9000 items of medical equipment to provide the Trust with a comprehensive assessment of equipment assets. The audit also covered the St Luke’s Cancer centre.
Part of the scope also included a review of existing maintenance and associated processes for managing medical equipment. MTS have now been retained to assist the Trust in a transformation project

Medial Equipment Audit

Role – Medical Equipment Audit & 5 Year Equipment replacement plan
Contract Period – November 2016-February 2017

Services – MTS Health worked with the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust team to undertake a comprehensive audit of all their medical equipment provision. This entailed visiting all rooms within the site and validating all items on their BME register.

MTS used the information gathered to validate the data and create a template for the production of a 5-year Equipment Replacement Plan. This work identified original dates of purchase or installation, cost originally procured, costs to procure currently, life cycles of equipment. MTS provided a full Audit and Equipment Replacement Plan report with a detailed Risk Register and recommendations

Services – MTS were appointed to undertake the Equipment Advisory for The London Clinic’s exciting Theatres, Atrium and offices redevelopment.

MTS provided the specialist Theatre Integration, Equipment scheduling, budgets, room planning and equipment selection with TLC’s design team lead, Avanti Architects, for the new Theatres, Atrium and other areas.
MTS is providing Room Data Sheet production and amends, equipment selection with the clinicians and equipment technical and financial planning related to equipment, having produced the Bills of Quantity and Equipment Specifications.

Services – MTS were appointed to develop the Trust’s OBC and FBC for the Chase Farm Healthcare Building. MTS are now appointed as Equipment Advisors to the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust for the procurement of their equipment over a 2.5-year period, running from January 2016 to completion in 2018.MTS will be working alongside IHP the P21+PSCP, and for the Trust.
MTS will be planning, specifying procuring, and project managing the installation of the Trust related equipment to ensure that it is handed over on time and in budget.
