MTS launches new EBME Apprentice of the Year Award

MTS has long recognised the importance of encouraging young and aspiring engineers into the clinical engineering field.

MTS has invested in creating a panel of private sector and NHS representatives to evaluate for future years The Apprentice of the Year Award to be given out at the EBME conference.

This award has been named The Paul Austin EBME Apprentice of The Year Award in memory of Paul Austin, a clinical engineer who actively promoted apprentices into the industry. In this inaugural year the winner is Max Slipper of MTS. The judging for year 2 (2024) will commence in early 2024 for presentation at the EBME conference on the 29th June.
