MTS provide Clinical Engineers based on site to manage and maintain well over 1000 beds, cots, and mattresses across the Trust. Patient care is directly dependent on the number of available beds for admitting patients and the Trust has been under severe pressure to manage bed capacity.
MTS deliver Bed Maintenance for University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust
Working closely with the Head of Clinical Engineering the Bed Manager, MTS have introduced systems to improve the flow of beds to and from wards, increasing efficiency in the process of cleaning and locating beds to turn beds around faster and back into the system.
