MTS delivers clinical engineering for East Coast Community Healthcare

MTS is prepared the detailed 1:50 room lists and costings and completing user input and sign off. MTS were appointed for the procurement phase. All previous work was undertaken by the Trust direct.

MTS was responsible for liaising with suppliers, tendering procurement, budget control and managing Removals and Logistics.

MTS also mobilised their specialist Logistics Team for the staff and IT moves.

MTS supports the Clinical Engineering Team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust

London Nightingale required MTS to commission all of the Medical Equipment including 500 level 3 ICU Beds. On both sites MTS implemented the equipment Governance and handed over the e-Quip databases to the NHS Trust. MTS also supported the Clinical Engineering Teams. This was handed over in January 2021.

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - MTS Equipment and Procurement Advisors

MTS worked with the Brighton University Hospitals NHS Trust preparing for the procurement installation and commissioning of the equipment ready for the opening in 2023. MTS had an extensive team on site advising on programme; costs; tendering and liaison with the Trust procurement team; Room sign off and budget and programme control.

MTS has completed the initial equipment budgets to be in line with the design brief.

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust – Cambridge Childrens Hospital - MTS Equipment Advisors

MTS have provided technical and commercial support throughout the procurement of the MES. The contract will deliver state-of-the-art equipment and performance management services for ten years to Norfolk and Norwich University NHS Foundation Trust. The partnership is intended to ensure the availability of innovative and state-of-the-art medical technology in the hospital for a period of ten years, independent of manufacturers and delivers clinical choice. It has been a pleasure to work with the clinicians and stakeholders at NNUH who will now be well equipped to continue their amazing work and develop new treatments.

Norfolk & Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

MTS are providing a specialist Healthcare Technologist (Clinical Engineer with ICT) to provide support to the Trust for their Medical Device Connectivity Programme. This contract was awarded in July 2021.

Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust

MTS prepared the detailed Equipment Bill of Quantities for the OBC to complete with the schedule of accommodation, creating the initial budget; bespoking the data to be Whipps Cross specific.

Ryder Architeture – For Barts Health – Whipps Cross Hospital (NHP) – MTS Equipment Advisor

MTS continues to support the Royal Papworth Hospital planned to move to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

MTS is working closely with the Trust project team to ensure all the required Equipment is bought and transferred to meet the new deadlines.

The Hospital was due to open in September 2018. However, it has announced contractors Skanska used insulation materials that did not meet its specifications and the move might take “a number of months”.
